About Our Teacher Training
On August 2023, LF held its first ever ECD workshop day. We hosted a lunch for principals of various Zandspruit ECD centres to equip them with important resources. We hope to continue this important work in the future. We also hosted a competition where the winning school received money from us for upgrades at their school.
LF supports various schools by assisting with upgrades to facilities. In 2021-2022 we installed
several new and revamped prefabs, as well as a brick pathway and a classroom divider at Julius
Sebolai school in Soweto. In 2020-2021 we assisted an ECD teacher in Olievenhoutbosch
Centurion to start her own school.
